#2 – HARTU Application Management Platform
An open, modular platform enabling non-experts to design
and control flexible robotic workflows
The HARTU Application Management Platform is a vendor-agnostic, modular environment designed to democratize industrial automation by enabling non-experts to visually configure and execute robotic workflows using Behavior Trees and ROS2.
By decoupling application logic from specific hardware drivers, this solution addresses the critical industry challenge of vendor lock-in, allowing for the seamless integration of diverse robots and sensors through a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface.
This approach significantly reduces integration time and technical barriers, empowering SMEs to deploy flexible, reconfigurable manufacturing lines with a projected high return on investment.
Responsible partner: TEK
- Open Source Strategy: Released under a GPL v3 License.
-
Dual Architecture: Combines two distinct interfaces:
- App-Creator: For configuring and building applications.
- App-Control: For real-time execution and monitoring.
- Tech Stack: Built on ROS2, Qt5, and BehaviorTree.CPP (v3.8).
- Deployment: Containerized via Docker to ensure portability, easy integration.
- Integration: Acts as the visual frontend for KER 9 (APRO), which serves as the vendor-agnostic backend architecture.
